The anteromedial (AM) muscle chain

Composition of the anteromedial muscle chain:

The anteromedial (AM) muscle chain

The main part includes the muscles of the head and trunk, from top to bottom:

– Orbicularis of the lips
-Digastrics
– Anterior part of the sterno-cleido-mastoid
-Anterior scalene
Subclavian muscle
Sternal
-Middle intercostals
Large pectoral middle and lower part
Rectus muscle
– Perineum muscle

Secondary chains include the members, from top to bottom:

  • The upper limb:

-Through the pectoralis major, the main chain of the trunk is connected to the chain of the upper limbs.
-Anterior deltoid (Anterior-median and antero-lateral chain).
-Brachial anterior.
– Deep bundle of the short supinator.
– Abductor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus.

  • Le membre inférieur :

-The connection to the main chain is done by the pyramidal muscle.
-Hip adductors and internal rectus (gracilis muscle)
