Pain after thoracic surgery MEDECIN ABONNE

M X, 60, was operated on for a lung tumor a year ago.
Some time after returning home, Mr X presented with burning chest pains. The contact of the clothes is very unpleasant. Breathing is blocked by pain.
The clinical examination of the patient finds a band of hypoesthesia at the level of the thorax which goes from the dorsal part to the abdomen, stopping on the middle part of the belly (red zone).
Examination of the thoracotomy scar leads to electric shocks and reproduces its pain (green zone).
Strongly inflating the lungs has the same effect.

Raise the arm on the painful side as well.

The treatment of the patient allows a marked improvement.
