Thigh, knee and leg pain caused by scarring
We will first recall the notion of cicatricial neuropathy.
The causes of scarred thigh pain are (non-exhaustive):
- Hip surgery (prosthesis, abutment, etc.)
- Femur surgery (particularly fracture)
- Open femoral artery surgery or femoral angioplasty
- Wound, hematoma, thigh burn
- Knee surgery (prosthesis, arthroscopy, etc.)
- Wound, burn, hematoma of the knee
- Leg wound, burn, hematoma
- Varicose vein surgeries
If in doubt, if the symptoms do not correspond, you can refer to the guide to muscle pain.
