Description
Appearance in the month following surgery by anterior cervical approach (thyroid surgery, ENT surgery and cervical spine surgery mainly) of swallowing disorders and / or dysphonia.
Complementary examinations looking for organic lesions (in particular of the recurrent nerve) are negative.
These disorders may be associated with difficulty turning and/or tilting the head back.
The clinical examination found an abnormal sensitivity of the surgical scars to the rolling palpation maneuver.
